Refund policy

Every 9ELIXIR piece is made in a small numbered run and checked by hand before it ships. If something isn't right, here's exactly how returns work.

1. Return eligibility & window
We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for a change of mind. You can request a return within 7 days of delivery (as shown in courier tracking) only if the item arrives defective, damaged, or is not as described, in accordance with Indian consumer law.

2. Condition of returned pieces
To keep things fair for all customers, approved returned items must be unworn, unwashed and undamaged, with all original tags, numbering labels and packaging intact. Pieces that show signs of wear, laundering, alteration, stains, pet hair, scent (smoke, perfume, deodorant) or further damage may be rejected and sent back to you.

3. Products not eligible for return
Items marked "Final Sale", "Archive" or similar clearance labels.

Gift cards or store credits.

Made-to-order or customised pieces (for example, personalised prints or special sizing).

Note: Where an item is defective, not as described, or damaged in transit, your statutory rights under Indian consumer law apply even if the item is listed as non-returnable.

4. How to start a return
Email nine.elixir@gmail.com with your order number, the items you want to return, and a brief reason detailing the defect or issue. Clear photos of the item and its packaging help us resolve things faster (see Section 9 for additional requirements regarding Qikink fulfilled items). We will reply within 48 hours with the return address and next steps.

5. Return shipping costs
Outbound shipping from us to you is free within India. Because returns are only accepted for items that are defective, damaged on arrival, we will either arrange a pickup where available or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs. We will replace or refund you at no additional cost, in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

6. Refunds & timelines
Once we receive and inspect the returned piece, we will email you to confirm approval or rejection. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7–10 working days. For COD orders, we issue refunds via UPI or bank transfer to the details you provide.

Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account. We do not charge any restocking fee. For refused or undeliverable COD orders, we may restrict future COD availability for that customer.

7. Exchanges & limited runs
Because each design is a limited, numbered run, we do not offer exchanges for size or color preferences. Replacements are only processed for items that arrive defective, incorrect, or damaged in transit, and are subject to stock availability. If a replacement is unavailable, a full refund will be issued.

8. Defective, wrong or damaged items
If an item arrives defective, incorrect, or damaged in transit, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for such products. We will guide you through the next steps and cover reasonable return shipping costs or arrange pickup where available.

9. Print partner claims (Qikink fulfilment)
Some 9ELIXIR pieces are produced and fulfilled through our print partner, Qikink. If your order was fulfilled via Qikink and arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted, you can request a return or replacement within 7 days of delivery.

To support your claim, please provide the following when you contact us:

An unboxing video clearly showing the item as received.

Clear photos of the defect, misprint, or damage.

Your order number and item details.

Once we have received and reviewed your evidence, we will liaise with our print partner and confirm the next steps—either a replacement dispatch or a full refund—within 48 hours. Claims submitted without an unboxing video or supporting photos may not be processed.
